They can be washed by hand or in the washing machine (if you are going to machine wash them, please be sure to remove the fabric bow ribbon before doing so to avoid it getting damaged – it can be re-tied on after they are washed and dried).     These were purchased as a gift and the person loves them! I am considering also buying some. Only problem- I have so many boots, this could get expensive! Super cute product that does what is should!.

    These boot trees are super cute. They definitely made all my boots stand up on a hardwood floor but on carpeting I needed to tie the extra tags on and connect them and then they worked just fine. Great gift for someone (or yourself!). I bought 5 pairs and am glad I did.

    What a clever product. I’ve been using my boot trees for a couple of months now. They still stand straight and look as nice as ever.     A first glance, this is a simple idea, but to those of us who didn’t think of it, it’s fantastic. I live in a mountain resort where it snows. Last year I splurged and bought an expensive pair of Bear Paw (faux) fur boots. I have tried stuffing newspaper inside them to prevent a fur-wrecking crease, but putting the paper in and taking it out all the time is very, well, not fun. On top of that, when the boots are flopped over, the cats have instant access to their favorite chew toy-the laces, and lovely nap pillow, the fur. These boot trees are a breeze to drop into the boots and they keep them upright and neat.

    I have other boots that need these, two pair of suede and a nice pair of western boots. I will be asking for more “boot trees” for Christmas. The filthy, muddy garden boots? They can live in the garage. No boot trees for you!

    Why purchase nice boots and allow them to deteriorate as they flop over and ruin the leather or fur? These are a bit pricey, but they will last forever..
